This Fair Usage Policy ensures equitable access to BeONE Prepaid network resources for all Subscribers.

1. PURPOSE

1.1 The purpose of this Fair Usage Policy is to prevent abuse or excessive usage that may degrade the quality of service for other Subscribers on the BeONE network.

1.2 This policy applies to all BeONE Prepaid plans that include "unlimited" or high-volume data and voice allocations.

2. VOICE CALL FAIR USAGE

2.1 Plans that include "Unlimited calls to all networks" are subject to a Fair Usage Policy limit of 2,000 minutes per month to all networks.

2.2 Upon reaching the 2,000-minute threshold, standard pay-per-use call rates will apply for the remainder of the billing cycle.

2.3 Voice call charging is calculated in 60-second blocks.

3. DATA FAIR USAGE

3.1 Data quotas are allocated per plan as follows:

3.2 After the main data quota is exhausted, the internet speed will be throttled to a base speed of 512 kbps. There is no hard cap; service continues at the reduced speed.

3.3 Hotspot data is separate from the main data quota. Once hotspot data is exhausted, tethering/hotspot functionality may be restricted until the next plan renewal.

4. PROHIBITED DATA USAGE

4.1 The following types of data usage are prohibited:

  • (a) Commercial resale of data services or internet bandwidth;
  • (b) Operating servers, proxies, or VPN services for commercial purposes;
  • (c) Peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing that causes excessive network congestion;
  • (d) SIM box fraud or any form of traffic routing/pumping;
  • (e) Automated or bot-generated traffic;
  • (f) Any usage that violates the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.

5. NETWORK MANAGEMENT

5.1 During periods of network congestion, BeONE may implement traffic management measures to ensure fair access for all Subscribers.

5.2 These measures may include temporary speed reduction for heavy users or prioritisation of certain traffic types.

5.3 5G services are subject to coverage availability. Subscribers outside 5G coverage areas will be served on the 4G network.

6. ROAMING

6.1 Promotional or free data allocations do not apply during international roaming unless explicitly stated.

6.2 Roaming charges are separate and governed by the applicable roaming terms.

7. ADD-ON DATA

7.1 Subscribers may purchase additional data through add-on packages:

  • RM 10.00 for 10GB 5G/4G (100% Hotspot enabled) - available for all plans
  • RM 7.00 for 700GB 5G/4G (12pm-12am, 7 days) - available for ULTRA plus 35 only

7.2 Add-on data is non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-exchangeable once purchased.

8. ENFORCEMENT

8.1 BeONE reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account found in violation of this Fair Usage Policy.

8.2 Subscribers will be notified of any action taken under this policy.
